India, July 23 -- Guar gum futures slipped by Rs. 21 to Rs. 11,718 per quintal in Thursday's trade on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX) as traders reduced their holdings amid weak demand in the spot market.

The August delivery contract declined 0.18%, with a trading volume of 63,010 lots, after settling at Rs. 11,739 per quintal in the previous session.

The decline was driven by subdued physical market demand, prompting participants to trim their positions in the futures market.
