India, March 30 -- Guar gum futures moved lower on Monday, dropping by Rs 9 to Rs 10,414 per quintal as traders reduced their positions amid weak spot market trends.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum contracts for May delivery slipped by 0.09%, with trading volume of 28,875 lots.
Market participants attributed the decline to subdued demand and ample supply from producing regions, which continued to weigh on prices.
