India, June 11 -- Guar gum futures traded lower on Thursday as weak demand in the spot market prompted traders to reduce their positions.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), June delivery contracts fell by Rs 91, or 0.81 per cent, to Rs 11,085 per quintal, with trading activity recorded at 20,205 lots.

The contract had settled at Rs 11,176 per quintal in the previous session. Market sentiment remained subdued as sluggish demand in the physical market continued to exert pressure on prices.
