India, May 27 -- Union Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment Dr. Virendra Kumar has launched the PM-AJAY Portal and AJAY Mobile App to strengthen and digitize the implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Anusuchit Jaati Abhyuday Yojna (PM-AJAY) scheme.
The digital platform has been introduced to shift from paper-based processes to a fully integrated real-time digital workflow for better monitoring, transparency and service delivery of Scheduled Caste welfare schemes. The launch took place in the presence of Minister of State B.L. Verma, Social Justice Secretary Sudhansh Pant and senior government officials, while representatives from states and Union Territories joined virtually.
