India, Aug. 13 -- The Government of India is expanding digital public service delivery through platforms such as UMANG and DigiLocker under the Digital India programme, aimed at improving access to government services and empowering citizens.

As of July 31, 2026, around 2,575 services, including 880 Central Government and 1,695 State Government services, were available on UMANG. DigiLocker offered access to 5,437 document types and services, comprising 661 Central Government and 4,776 State Government offerings.

UMANG has more than 11.66 crore registered users and recorded around 798 crore transactions over the past three years. DigiLocker has over 72.43 crore registered users and recorded approximately 72.86 crore document access transac...
