India, Sept. 30 -- Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has approved procurement worth Rs 5,547.99 crore under the Price Support Scheme (PSS) for the Kharif Marketing Season 2026-27 in Uttar Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka.
In Uttar Pradesh, procurement worth Rs 3,992.57 crore has been sanctioned, covering 4.66 lakh tonnes of tur and 6,250 tonnes of moong.
For Karnataka, procurement worth Rs 1,107 crore has been approved for 1.15 lakh tonnes of soybean, 38,250 tonnes of moong and 13,413 tonnes of sunflower.
In Telangana, the approved procurement amounts to Rs 448.42 crore, covering 62,000 tonnes of soybean and 10,766 tonnes of moong.
