India, Aug. 3 -- Gold futures edged higher on Monday, with the October contract on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) rising Rs 364, or 0.25%, to Rs 1,43,740 per 10 grams.
The gain was driven by fresh buying by market participants, supported by firm demand in the spot market. The contract witnessed a business turnover of 1,691 lots during the session.
