India, Oct. 28 -- Gold futures prices declined by Rs 646 to Rs 1,43,492 per 10 grams on Wednesday, weighed down by subdued demand in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), gold contracts for December delivery fell Rs 646, or 0.45%, to trade at Rs 1,43,492 per 10 grams, with a business turnover of 699 lots.

Market analysts attributed the decline in gold futures to weaker spot demand, which exerted pressure on prices during the trading session.
