India, July 10 -- Gold futures fell on Friday, with the August contract declining Rs 630, or 0.43%, to Rs 1,44,670 per 10 grams on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX).

The decline was driven by weaker demand in the spot market, with analysts attributing the fall in gold prices to subdued buying interest.
