India, Aug. 7 -- Gold futures rose Rs 1,272 to Rs 1,50,130 per 10 grams on Friday as traders built fresh positions amid firm demand in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), October delivery contracts advanced 0.85 per cent to Rs 1,50,130 per 10 grams, with a business turnover of 1,283 lots. Market analysts said fresh buying interest from participants, supported by strong spot demand, lifted gold prices in futures trade.
