India, Aug. 20 -- Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd on Thursday announced that it has received approval from the US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) for its generic version of fluticasone propionate nasal spray, used for the treatment of rhinitis.
The approval covers fluticasone propionate nasal spray with a strength of 0.05 mg per spray, the company said in a regulatory filing.
Glenmark stated that its product is bioequivalent and therapeutically equivalent to Flonase nasal spray, 0.05 mg per spray, the reference listed drug marketed by Haleon US Holdings LLC.
