India, July 6 -- GK Energy has secured a Rs 235.92 crore order from the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) to deploy 10,000 off-grid DC solar-powered water pumping systems across Maharashtra under the Magel Tyala Saur Krushi Pump Yojana.

The contract covers the design, manufacture, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of 3 HP, 5 HP, and 7.5 HP solar-powered agricultural pumping systems. The project aims to provide farmers with reliable and sustainable energy for irrigation while reducing dependence on conventional power sources.
