India, Sept. 1 -- Escorts Kubota Limited reported a strong performance in its Agri Machinery segment, with tractor sales rising 27.1% year-on-year in August 2025. The company sold 8,456 tractors during the month, compared to 6,652 units in August 2024.

Domestic sales stood at 7,902 units, up 26.6% from 6,243 units last year, driven by favourable rural conditions such as timely and widespread monsoon rains, strong water reservoir levels, higher Kharif sowing acreage, and the early onset of the festive season. The company also highlighted optimism in the sector amid expectations of a possible GST rate cut on tractors and farm machinery ahead of peak demand.
