India, Aug. 19 -- Domestic gold futures prices declined by Rs 636, or 0.41 per cent, to Rs 1,53,626 per 10 grams on Wednesday, amid weak spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), gold contracts for October delivery traded lower at Rs 1,53,626 per 10 grams, with a business turnover of 837 lots.

Analysts attributed the decline in gold prices to subdued demand in the spot market.
