India, Sept. 21 -- Dilip Buildcon Limited has been declared the L-1 bidder by REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited (RECPDCL) for the development and operation of an intra-state transmission system involving the establishment of a 400 kV GIS Solapur/Paranda Switching Station in Dharashiv, Maharashtra.
The project will be executed on a Build, Own, Operate and Transfer (BOOT) basis under the Tariff Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) route. The construction period is 24 months, followed by a 35-year operational period from the Commercial Operation Date (COD).
The project involves setting up the 400 kV GIS switching station to strengthen the intra-state electricity transmission network in Maharashtra.
