India, July 8 -- The Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPwD) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Sri Aurobindo Society (SAS) to advance inclusive education for children with disabilities. This collaboration supports the implementation of key provisions under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (RPwD) Act, 2016—particularly Sections 16, 17, and 47—which emphasize the right to inclusive and equitable education.
