India, Jan. 12 -- Crude oil futures declined on Monday, tracking weak global trends as concerns over oversupply weighed on prices.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), crude oil contracts for February delivery eased by Rs 8, or 0.15 per cent, to Rs 5,358 per barrel, with a business turnover of 6,761 lots.

Market analysts said the decline was driven by selling pressure from participants, who offloaded positions amid subdued demand in the spot market and cautious sentiment in global crude markets.
