India, Oct. 7 -- Crude oil prices gained on Tuesday, climbing Rs 8 to Rs 5,486 per barrel in futures trade as participants increased positions amid strong spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), November crude oil contracts rose 0.15% to Rs 5,486 per barrel in 4,209 lots. Analysts noted that increased bets by traders helped sustain the upward momentum in futures.
