India, Aug. 11 -- Crude oil futures prices rose by Rs 49, or 0.63%, to Rs 7,774 per barrel on Tuesday, supported by firm demand in the spot market and increased position-building by market participants.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), crude oil contracts for September delivery traded at Rs 7,774 per barrel, with a business turnover of 884 lots.
Analysts said higher bets by traders amid firm spot demand supported the rise in crude oil futures.
