India, June 15 -- Crude oil futures tumbled more than 5 per cent on Monday, falling to a three-month low amid easing geopolitical tensions after the United States and Iran reached a peace agreement, improving expectations of global oil supply.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange of India, crude oil contracts for June delivery fell Rs 449, or 5.56 per cent, to Rs 7,624 per barrel, with a trading volume of 10,716 lots.
Similarly, the July contract declined Rs 422, or 5.3 per cent, to Rs 7,546 per barrel in a turnover of 5,110 lots.
