India, Sept. 17 -- Crude oil prices fell by Rs 89 to Rs 9,730 per barrel in futures trade on Thursday, tracking weak global trends.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), crude oil futures for September delivery declined 0.91% to Rs 9,730 per barrel, with a business turnover of 12,390 lots.
Analysts attributed the decline to offloading of positions by participants amid weak demand in the spot market.
