India, Oct. 26 -- Crude oil futures fell by Rs 168, or 1.71%, to Rs 9,632 per barrel on Monday as investors booked profits and traders reduced their positions.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), crude oil contracts for November delivery declined to Rs 9,632 per barrel, with a business turnover of 3,901 lots.
Analysts attributed the decline to profit-booking by market participants and the subsequent unwinding of positions in the futures market.
