India, Oct. 1 -- Crude oil futures fell Rs 39, or 0.45%, to Rs 8,695 per barrel on Thursday, tracking weak trends in global markets.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), crude oil contracts for October delivery traded at Rs 8,695 per barrel, with 9,015 lots changing hands.
Analysts attributed the decline to selling by market participants and subdued demand in the spot market.
