India, April 20 -- Cottonseed oil cake prices on Monday increased by Rs 8 to Rs 3,424 per quintal in futures trade, as speculators created fresh positions amid higher demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for May delivery traded higher by Rs 8, or 0.23 per cent, to Rs 3,424 per quintal with an open interest of 59,970 lots.
Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants amid increasing demand for cattle feed mainly influenced cottonseed oil cake prices.
