India, March 24 -- Cottonseed oil cake prices edged lower on Tuesday, falling by Rs 12 to Rs 3,494 per quintal in futures trade as market participants trimmed their positions amid soft trends in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), contracts for April delivery declined by Rs 12, or 0.34 per cent, to Rs 3,494 per quintal, with an open interest of 57,460 lots.
Analysts said selling pressure at prevailing levels, coupled with subdued demand conditions, weighed on cottonseed oil cake prices.
