India, Aug. 11 -- Coriander futures prices rose by Rs 74, or 0.46%, to Rs 16,226 per quintal on Tuesday, supported by strong demand in the spot market and restricted supplies from producing regions.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), coriander contracts for October delivery traded higher at Rs 16,226 per quintal, with an open interest of 13,700 lots.

Market analysts said firm spot demand and limited supplies from key producing regions supported the rise in coriander futures.
