India, Oct. 15 -- Coriander futures prices rose by Rs 172, or 1.05%, to Rs 16,490 per quintal on Thursday, supported by higher demand in the spot market and restricted supplies from producing regions.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), coriander contracts for December delivery climbed to Rs 16,490 per quintal, with a traded volume of 19,465 lots.

Market analysts attributed the rise in coriander prices to firm spot demand and limited supplies from key producing regions.
