India, Sept. 16 -- Coriander futures prices rose Rs 170 to Rs 14,586 per quintal on Wednesday, supported by increased demand in the spot market.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), coriander contracts for October delivery climbed Rs 170, or 1.18 per cent, to Rs 14,586 per quintal, with an open interest of 22,140 lots.

Market analysts said strong spot demand and restricted supplies from producing regions supported coriander futures prices.
