India, Oct. 5 -- Coriander futures gained sharply on Monday, supported by stronger demand in the physical market and limited supplies from key producing regions.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), coriander contracts for December delivery rose Rs 380, or 2.47%, to Rs 15,790 per quintal, with open interest standing at 10,830 lots.
Market participants attributed the rise to firm spot demand and restricted arrivals from producing regions, which provided support to coriander prices.
