India, Sept. 3 -- Coriander futures rose sharply on Thursday, supported by firm demand in the spot market and limited supplies from major producing regions.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), coriander contracts for October delivery climbed Rs 172, or 1.09%, to Rs 15,640 per quintal, with an open interest of 19,710 lots.
Market analysts said strong spot demand coupled with restricted supplies from producing areas supported coriander prices in the futures market.
