India, Aug. 6 -- Coriander futures declined sharply on Thursday, with the August contract falling Rs 314, or 2.04%, to Rs 15,104 per quintal on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX).

The contract recorded an open interest of 15,850 lots during the session.

Market analysts attributed the decline to subdued demand in the physical market and profit booking by traders, which weighed on coriander futures prices.
