India, Oct. 27 -- Coriander futures prices declined by Rs 296 to Rs 16,396 per quintal on Tuesday, as traders reduced their positions amid subdued demand in the spot market.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), coriander contracts for December delivery fell by Rs 296, or 1.77%, to Rs 16,396 per quintal, with an open interest of 17,040 lots.

Market analysts attributed the decline to weak spot demand and profit-booking by speculators, which weighed on coriander futures prices.
