India, March 5 -- Copper prices declined by Rs 6.25 to Rs 1,224 per kg in futures trade on Thursday due to subdued demand in the domestic spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange of India, copper for April delivery fell Rs 6.25, or 0.51%, to Rs 1,224 per kg, with a turnover of 208 lots.
Market participants said weaker demand from consuming industries weighed on copper prices in futures trading.
