India, May 12 -- Copper futures traded higher on Tuesday supported by improved demand in the spot market and fresh buying by traders.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange of India (MCX), copper contracts for June delivery gained Rs 9.45, or 0.68%, to Rs 1,396.95 per kg in a business turnover of 3,110 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to fresh positions created by participants amid stronger spot demand.
