India, Oct. 23 -- Copper futures rose by Rs 2.30, or 0.63%, to Rs 1,365 per kg on Friday, supported by firm demand in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), copper contracts for October delivery traded at Rs 1,365 per kg, with a business turnover of 1,685 lots.

Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to increased buying positions by market participants.
