India, Aug. 26 -- Copper prices gained Rs 10.30, or 0.74%, to Rs 1,407.90 per kg in futures trading on Wednesday, supported by stronger demand in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), copper futures for September delivery traded higher with a business turnover of 1,940 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise to increased positions taken by market participants, which provided further support to copper prices.
