India, Oct. 1 -- Copper futures rose Rs 2.70, or 0.19%, to Rs 1,404.35 per kg on Thursday, supported by stronger demand in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), copper contracts for October delivery traded at Rs 1,404.35 per kg, with 2,172 lots changing hands.
Analysts attributed the rise to increased buying and higher positions taken by market participants, which supported copper prices
