India, July 20 -- Copper futures rose 0.31% to Rs 1,306.45 per kg on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) as firm demand in the spot market encouraged fresh buying by traders.

The July contract advanced Rs 4.10 to Rs 1,306.45 per kg, with a trading volume of 1,598 lots. According to market analysts, increased positions by participants amid stronger spot demand supported the rise in copper prices.
