India, Sept. 28 -- Copper prices declined Rs 11.90, or 0.84%, to Rs 1,407.35 per kg in futures trade on Monday amid muted demand in the domestic spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the October delivery copper contract traded at Rs 1,407.35 per kg, with a business turnover of 2,347 lots.
Traders attributed the decline to subdued demand from domestic consuming industries, which weighed on copper prices in the futures market.
