India, Oct. 28 -- Copper futures prices rose by 65 paise to Rs 1,406 per kilogram on Wednesday, supported by stronger demand in the spot market and increased positions by market participants.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), copper contracts for November delivery gained 65 paise, or 0.65%, to trade at Rs 1,406 per kilogram, with a business turnover of 986 lots.
Market analysts attributed the uptick in copper futures to increased bets by participants, which supported prices during the trading session.
