India, Sept. 3 -- Copper futures declined marginally on Thursday, weighed down by subdued demand in the domestic spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), copper contracts for September delivery slipped 65 paise, or 0.05%, to Rs 1,370.30 per kg, with an open interest of 2,375 lots.

Traders said muted demand from domestic consuming industries exerted pressure on copper prices in the futures market.
