India, July 24 -- Copper futures slipped on Friday as subdued demand from domestic consuming industries weighed on prices.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the August contract declined Rs 1.25, or 0.09%, to Rs 1,331.15 per kg, with a trading volume of 1,654 lots.
Market participants attributed the decline to muted demand in the domestic spot market, prompting traders to reduce their positions.
