India, Aug. 6 -- Copper futures rose marginally on Thursday, with the August contract gaining 70 paise, or 0.05%, to Rs 1,374.50 per kg on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX).
The contract recorded a business turnover of 2,640 lots during the session.
Analysts said fresh buying by market participants, supported by firm spot demand, lifted copper prices in futures trade.
