India, July 28 -- Copper futures fell by Rs. 11.40 to Rs. 1,325.20 per kilogram on Tuesday, weighed down by subdued demand in the domestic spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), August delivery contracts declined 0.85% to Rs. 1,325.20 per kg, with a trading volume of 857 lots.
According to market participants, muted demand from domestic consuming industries put pressure on copper prices in futures trade.
