India, Nov. 4 -- Copper prices declined by Rs. 9.55, or 0.7%, to Rs. 1,355.85 per kg in futures trading on Wednesday, pressured by subdued demand in the domestic spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), copper contracts for November delivery fell Rs. 9.55 to Rs. 1,355.85 per kg, with a trading volume of 3,413 lots.
Market participants attributed the decline to weak buying interest from domestic consuming industries, which weighed on copper prices in the futures market.
