India, Feb. 5 -- Concord Control Systems Limited has secured a significant Rs 185.09 crore contract for the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of the KAVACH 4.0 system, strengthening its role in India's railway safety and modernization efforts. The order has been awarded through its associate company, Progota India Pvt. Ltd., and is scheduled for execution over the next 12 months.
KAVACH 4.0 is an indigenous Automatic Train Protection (ATP) system developed for Indian Railways, aimed at improving rail safety by preventing collisions, over-speeding, and signal violations. The upgraded version incorporates advanced digital technologies to enhance operational efficiency and passenger protection across the network.
