India, April 1 -- South Eastern Coalfields Limited, a subsidiary of Coal India Limited, reported a 5.26% year-on-year rise in coal production for FY2025-26, reflecting steady growth amid increasing energy demand.
The company's total production stood at 176.2 million tonnes (MT), up from 167.4 MT in FY25.
Coal offtake also registered a 4.6% increase, reaching 178.6 MT in FY26 compared to 170.7 MT in the previous financial year, indicating consistent supply momentum.
