India, June 24 -- The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has approved the acquisition of a certain stake in Nxtra Data Limited by Alpha Wave Ventures II, LP.
The transaction involves Alpha Wave Ventures acquiring the shareholding through a primary subscription of equity shares in Nxtra Data.
Alpha Wave Ventures II is a private equity fund managed by Alpha Wave Ventures GP, a joint venture between Alpha Wave Global and Lunate Holding RSC Ltd.
Nxtra Data is engaged in providing data center colocation services across India. The CCI's approval clears the way for the proposed investment to proceed.
