India, Oct. 7 -- The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has approved four multi-tracking railway projects spanning 18 districts across Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, and Chhattisgarh, with a total investment of around ?24,634 crore.
According to an official statement, these projects will expand the Indian Railways network by approximately 894 km, enhancing connectivity and facilitating smoother movement of passengers, goods, and services.
