India, Aug. 25 -- Brahmaputra Infrastructure Ltd has announced the successful completion and testing of critical components of the Bairabi-Sairang Broad Gauge Railway Line in Mizoram, marking a major step forward in the state's connectivity. The project, valued at ?175.06 crore, includes the construction of two major bridges over the Chakra River between Bairabi and Sairang.
The scope of work involved the construction of Tall Bridge No. 89, featuring three steel girder spans of 103.50 metres each, and Bridge No. 196, comprising two spans of 78.80 metres and two spans of 103.50 metres.
